WHAT DO WE MEAN BY LOW AND HIGH VOLATILITY SLOTS?

Volatility or variance, are one of the categories we look at when rating our slots.

Basically it is a measure of risk. Low volatility pays little and often, high volatility pays more but less frequently.

Both kinds of slot appeal to different players but when deciding which you prefer you need to ask yourself what kind of player you are.

Think about your budget, how much you want to spend to have a few hours of fun. Low volatility slots allow you to stretch that budget to the max. Every three to five spins you are likely to get a little something back: your stake, a couple of free spins… If you get a good win, it will probably replenish your budget and therefore you can keep playing for longer.
